1       Standard Terms

1.1      By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions

1.2      The prize draw is being run by the British LGBT Awards, part of SPM Group Ltd.

2       Eligibility

2.1      The prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age living in the UK as of the 27^th August 2021

2.2      By entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to attend the British LGBT Awards 2021 at the Brewery, London on the 27^th August

2.3      The prize draw is free to enter

2.4      Those who have completed the voting form prior to this date are eligible to re-enter within the specified dates of the competition

2.5      Entrants must provide a valid twitter handle, email address and phone number which they can be contacted on

2.6      Entrants must confirm that they have no previous relevant convictions (such as restraining orders, cease and desist) with potential event attendees, including but not limited to our Top 10 nominees

2.7       British LGBT Awards 2021 retain the right to reallocate the prize if you are in breach of these eligibility restrictions

3       How to Enter

3.1      The prize draw will be taken from submissions of the survey from 8:00am Wednesday 16^th June to Friday 18^th June 11:59pm. Entries outside of these time and dates will not be included in the draw

3.2      To enter the prize draw simply complete the voting form

4       The Prize

4.1      The prize will include two full tickets to the British LGBT Awards 2021, being held at The Brewery, London, and return train transport from your chosen UK city – this is subject to available train times

4.2      The prize winner will not receive any hotel accommodation for the event

4.3      The winner will be drawn at random

4.4      The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives are offered

4.5      British LGBT Awards reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of similar value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so 

5       Winner Announcement

5.1      The winner will be notified after Friday 18^th June 2021 via email as well as on social media with the handle provided at submission

5.2      British LGBT Awards will attempt to contact the winner up to three times

5.3      If the winner does not respond to contact within 14 days of the last attempted contact, they will lose their right to the prize, and British LGBT Awards reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner

6       Receipt of the Prize

6.1      The prize will be delivered on 27^th August 2021

6.2      Delivery arrangements of the prize may be made through mutual agreement with both parties

7       Data Protection and Publicity

7.1      You consent to your provided personal information being used on promotional material, and in any British LGBT Awards publications

7.2      The winner agrees to the release of their first name and social media handles as part of the publicity for the event

7.3      The winner agrees to have their photo taken at our live event, and distributed on promotional social media and website material as part of our event

8       Limitation of Liability

8.1      In the case of circumstances beyond our control, British LGBT Awards and affiliates will take no responsibility for lost prizes

8.2      British LGBT Awards & affiliates will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or illness that may occur:

8.2.1     During the draw

8.2.2     While attending the event and the participation of such

8.2.3     As a consequence of lost or misdirected mail

8.2.4     In relation to failure of an entry to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion

8.2.5     Arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.

8.3      If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition

9       General

9.1      The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
