Over 18 years ago, Britney Spears launched her iconic and global best-selling fragrance fantasy BRITNEY SPEARS™. This summer, an exclusive PRIDE Edition is being sold in Superdrug to give the LGBTQ+ community direct access to support from UK charity Switchboard.
Continuing the support, the PRIDE Edition will again this year prominently feature contact details for Switchboard, the national LGBTQ+ helpline service that is confidential, non-judgmental and non-directive. Switchboard supports people with questions around coming out, sexuality, safer sex, gender identity, relationship issues, discrimination and mental health. With 15,000 units of this special PRIDE Edition being made, the aim is to raise awareness of the helpline to as many people as possible.
What’s more, Britney Spears Fragrances UK will donate £5,000 directly to Switchboard to further enable them to continue to provide help and care. Alongside this, Superdrug will work to raise awareness of the charity’s helpline and support services in-store.
Alongside these activations, this year Britney Spears Fragrances UK will be sponsoring the British LGBT Awards. Established in 2015, the British LGBT Awards showcases and celebrates individuals, groups and organisations that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the LGBTQ+ community and the fight for equality.
One of the year’s most important celebrations of the LGBTQ+ community, the event is held in London during UK Pride Month and is attended by celebrities and key LGBTQ+ figures within the community.

Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline is one of the UK’s longest running, volunteer led charities serving the LGBTQ+ communities. As a national helpline, they serve on average 18,000 callers a year across phone, instant messaging and email.
