Role Vacancy: Freelance Live Photographer

Salary: £500/ night

Do you have experience in live photography? The British LGBT Awards are looking to support young LGBT+ photographers at their event this year by offering a paid role as an official event photographer!

We’re looking for someone with a unique approach to live photography, who can really help breathe life into the event – with a full, professional salary for the night (£500).

We’re looking for photographers who have their own equipment and feel they would be ready to photograph stars on the red carpet, and also winners on stage.

We’re also looking for photographers with experience of live events such as nightclubs or bars, as we will also need general photos of the event showing  people celebrating their authentic queer selves!

This is a great opportunity to expand your portfolio and have your work showcased on a national stage as part of a really fun setting! You’ll be photographing everyone from industry leaders, to activists, to some of your favourite LGBT+ celebrities!

The event is on the 27th August, and so we would need two photographers available from 5pm – 11pm, and 8pm- 2am respectively with a break partway through.

To apply, please send through a small portfolio of your live work, such as gig photography, music artists, parties, red carpet or anything similar through to

We look forward to seeing all of your incredible work!
