Working with organisations and business for change

Since 2014, the British LGBT Awards has collaborated with numerous brands and organisations, addressing issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community and society at large. Change is often challenging, and the landscape is constantly evolving.

We are proud of our efforts to highlight and celebrate businesses that create supportive environments for LGBTQ+ employees. While we can’t solve global problems alone, we can ensure that organisations recruit and support employees who share our values, as meaningful change comes from within. That’s why SPM Group, which runs the British LGBT Awards, has long focused on supporting diversity in business, including women and diverse ethnic groups.

We strive to stay on the right side of change, holding businesses accountable and working with them to improve from the inside out. We listen to our community and engage in meaningful conversations with organisations based on community feedback.

Occasionally, we stop collaborating with organisations if significant issues prevent meaningful change, but we prefer engagement over cancel culture.

If you have concerns about any organisations we work with, please contact us using the form below. We value community feedback and often facilitate meetings between concerned groups and organisations for productive dialogue. While this may not always be the preferred outcome, we find it effective.

Without partnerships, the LGBT Awards wouldn’t be possible, nor would the progress within these organisations. We navigate this delicate balance to contribute to positive change.
